Smeets Extra 35°
Smeets Extra is the most popular and best-selling Hasselt Grain Genever. You can recognise it by the typical green bottle with a long neck. This unique genever is created from a subtle mix of malt wine, herbs and juniper berries. The malt wine is distilled by hand and matured for 6 months on Hasselt soil. In this way, Smeets meets the conditions for bearing the ‘Hasseltse Genever’ international quality mark. Smeets Extra is strongly aromatic and has a soft, rounded and recognisable grain flavour. Can be enjoyed neat, or as a basis for one of the many Smeets genever cocktails.

This grain genever is made from pure rye and barley malt. Smeets Extra’s ‘little brother’ follows the same production process, but has a lower alcohol content. This 30° genever warms you deep inside with its subtle herbal aroma and juniper berry flavour.
