Cutty Sark is named after the legendary tea clipper – the fastest ship of its time – and was first made in 1923, at the peak of prohibition. It is a whisky that challenges convention and is aimed at attracting a new breed of whisky drinker. Cutty Sark has a long tradition, all in the spirit of adventure. This whisky stands out from more traditional whiskies due to its lighter taste and a fresher personality.

Cutty Sark is proudly different from more traditional whisky. This scotch is an accessible blend that is easy to drink, with a light colour and taste. For our Cutty blend, we carefully select whiskies that have been individually aged in select American oak casks, delivering a smooth and rich taste with hints of caramel and vanilla. The unique blending process enables the whiskies to flow together nicely and be filtered at a higher temperature to avoid an over- sharp ‘chill-filtered’ character. This process creates a unique light and lively character, making Cutty Sark perfect for cocktails and mixed drinks.
